Tattoo Bandage Saniderm. Saniderm is a breathable adhesive bandage for your tattoo. Your artist will gently wash the area and put a Saniderm bandage on it to protect it from bacteria.
Remove the bandage 24 hours after getting tattooed and wash tattoo thoroughly with antibacterial soap Dial 2. Bandages similar to Saniderm have been used by doctors and surgeons for over 30 years. After you apply the first Saniderm bandage we recommend leaving it on your new tattoo for between 8 to 24 hours.
Clear breathable tattoo bandages are known as Saniderm Tegaderm Tattoo-derm and Tatu-Derm.
When you leave the shop you will have a piece of Saniderm protecting your tattoo and you will be given a second sheet to take home with you. After 24 hours you should remove the Saniderm bandage wash your tattoo let it air dry and place another tattoo bandage over it. Do not rub the tattoo as this may cause irritation.
