Tattoo Aftercare Form. Leave the bandage that you received after the tattoo on for 2 to 10 hours. Leave the bandage on until you are in a sanitary place to wash your tattoo.
Tattoo aftercare starts in the tattoo shop. Your new tattoo will consist of an area of tiny skin breaks caused by the tattooing needles so it should be kept covered afterwards for at least an hour using the sterile non-adherent dressing. You will be given aftercare instructions from the tattooist which will explain the healing process.
Neck tattoos are the most visible forms of tattooing.
Wash and moisturize 2 times a day. The skin will become dry and flaky but you must resist scratching it. In that case you can apply the balm more often. Take care to remove all traces of blood to prevent scabbing.
