The tattoo artist will apply a bandage on your tattoo once it is done to make sure that no bacteria can contact the skin.
Clean your tattoo 2-3 times a day with a fragrance-free soap using your fingers and pat dry. Good thing is that you can resume your activities like exercise but make sure to clean your skin afterwards. Always ask your artist about the time duration required to keep the bandage. When the peeling begins switch to a regular FRAGRANCE FREE lotion such as Lubriderm or any other fragrance free brand for an additional 2 weeks.
